Primeletic exists because we were the buyers on the wrong end of this aisle: flipping tubes of pain-relief gel to find water and alcohol at the top of the ingredient list, or imported balms with no list you could verify at all. At some point we stopped flipping tubes.
The origin moment

The aisle that started the company
Look at what actually sells as pain relief. Menthol gels where the first two ingredients are water and alcohol, so the chill is the entire product. Imported balms with a label you can't read and a supplier nobody can name. Nothing tested, nothing published, and no reason to expect otherwise, because the category never asked.
We'd been buying from that aisle for years. At some point the question stopped being “which brand seems trustworthy” and became “why does trust come into it at all?” A full ingredient panel and an independent batch test aren't exotic technology. They cost a few hundred dollars a batch. The market just didn't bother.
